So inspiring! Rather than focusing on his own situation, 91 year old Morrie spends his time creating warm hats for people experiencing homelessness. Proof that when you find your purpose there's a whole world of good to do. Thank you Morrie for this perfect reminder!

Presents of clothes for Christmas to people doing it tough are great..... But please take a moment to read these sentiments from one of our OOSH holiday program kids which were attached to the presents. Lessons of love, introduction to the joy of giving from the earliest age, and fun has made for meaningful excursions to TT by 100's of kids . 1400 presents went to women's shelters and another 300 presents were delivered yesterday to K Mart to be distributed by the Salvation Army. Merry Christmas everyone and may 2017 be a happy and healthy one for all.

What an exciting time of year! Thanks to the over 500 people who have come to Thread Together in the last couple months and helped with our Christmas drive, we are now ready to start distributing presents to our wonderful partner organizations and their clients. We have been so overwhelmed by the number of people who wanted to give back and get involved that we have even more presents than what has already been requested. If you know someone who could use a bit of extra joy this Christmas season, please email us at info@threadtogether.org with their size details and we will do our best to help. If you are a charity organisation and would like to arrange presents for your clients, please contact us. All of our 2016 presents have been made for Women and Children - and all by volunteers. Thank you to everyone who has helped along the way! This wouldn't have happened without you! :) :)

Cool threads for jobseekers

We are so pleased to see our service being of such value to young job seekers - the long-term unemployed and new people to Australia who have been through special training to get to work. We are proud to support not-for-profit training and employment agency MTC Australia with the Transition to Work program. Thanks to The Sun Parramatta for writing this article
