Prime health the biggest wish for 2017

Crowd starting to roll in for our NYE Race meeting. Weather fantastic. Can I just ask again for any one that can spare an hour tomorrow morning to help clean up, it would be appreciated. Many hands make light work. About 8.00 am onwards.

New Years Eve - our BIGGEST Race meeting of the Year! Gates open at 5.00 p.m. both Mate St and North St gates. Please Note: Fallon St gate, strictly for Horses and Trainers will be open at 4.30 and access will be strictly enforced. Live music all night, plenty of entertainment for the kids, and the BEST fireworks display on the Border at Midnight. All the normal facilities, Bar, food, tote, bookies and coffee. Prices: $20 adults, $10 Concession, $5 kids (3 to 15).

Gates open at 5.00 p.m., strictly NO entry off Fallon St., except for staff, trainers, drivers and horses. Both North and Mate Street gates will be open.

Weather will be purrrrfect for NYE, 31 top for the day, and 16 overnight into Sunday. First race 7.43pm last at 10.45 pm, Fireworks on the stroke of midnight to bring in the New Year 2017

Just a week to go now for our NYE Race meeting. Early weather forecasts are for a fine sunny day, top of 31C, we have 8 races programmed with total prize money of $67000, so we should get good noms. Fields declared Wednesday.
