Description

ad

The club was established 13th August 1983, with the intention to exist as a united organisation of migrants from all regions of the former Yugoslavia in Melbourne, surrounding districts and other parts of Australia. To enable frequent contact and gatherings.

The main purpose of the club will be encouragement of music and traditional folk dances from all regions of the former Yugoslavia. The encouragement will include training, performing, displaying, providing information, studying, judging and critiquing.
Association in its existence is multicultural and will, not engage with any activity directed against any foreign country, nor does it follow a political regime. In our activities we do not affiliate with any political parties or church organisations except in cultural and artistic activities only.

To become a club member should be an honour regardless of faith, nationality, ancestry or personal political views and with that view should not blemish the name of the club and should with pride hold up the clubs name because that’s the only way we, the sons and daughters will represent our club with pride, dignity and heritage.

The club wishes to exist without any political current affair and to hold as many dinner dancers, outing, sporting activities and gatherings as well as associate with likeminded people.

Our slogan is

“ALL ROADS LEAD TO CLUB VOJVODINA”
