Written by playwright/actor/musician Peter Gill (Talbot House, The Jerry Lee Lewis Story) this play details, through the eyes of a simple 'Tommy' the reality of war for those who actually fought it. In an astonishing solo performance, 'Meet Tommy Atkins' takes the audience through his war - a war that saw him fight at Ypres, Passendale, Loos and on the Somme and that took him to the depths of despair but also brought him unique comradeship that he would never find again. From the beginning of the war to the end, Private Tommy Atkins was there. This is his story. Performance starts at 7.30pm, ticket prices are £12.

Whats on in October.... On Thursday 19 October we have a new play by Peter Gill called 'Meet Tommy Atkins'. Starting at 7:30pm, tickets are still available at £12 each. Friday 20 October buy huge popular demand The New Jersey Boys are back! The show starts at 7:30 pm. If you happen to miss out on this show, The New Jersey Boys are returning in November too! Saturday 21 October Steve Hewlett will be here with his show '30 Years Talking to Myself'. His performance if full of laughs and suitable for all ages. The performance starts at 7:30pm, with tickets costing £15 for over 16's and £10 for under 16's. Tuesday 24 October the Theatre Chipping Norton presents 'Sherlock Holmes and the Crimson Cobbles' by Toby Hulse. This performance is suitable for audiences aged 12 plus, with the show starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are £15/£14 for concessions. We also have the sold out performance of 'Her Majesty Fed an Elephant' presented by Connie Prosser at the theatre on Saturday 28 October.
