Our beautiful Twiggy says good day everyone and a huge thank you for all the love that you have sent her. She wants you to know she is feeling a lot better - still quite a way to go yet - but she couldn’t have done it without all the support, warm wishes and kind donations from all of you. We have more news about our dear little Twiggy. Today we were waiting for one more blood test result and it is now back. It shows that Twiggy’s pancreas is not functioning as it should and no longer produces the enzymes needed for digesting food. The Vet says this is the result of untreated pancreatitis caused by a poor diet. This means it is most likely that she has been terribly neglected all her life - the Vet estimates that she is only 3 or 4 years old. 😢 Twiggy is now back home ❤️ She has medication and special food that will sustain her until she sees the specialist who will determine her long term treatment. We know that she will need an enzyme replacement powder in her food for life to enable her to live normally. The specialist will decide which type of enzyme (human,cow or pig) will give her the best chance. Our little emaciated Girl has been admitted to the emergency veterinary hospital. Where she was almost starved to death Her stomach can’t tolerate food, She needs intensive care, She is extremely malnourished and her poor broken body cannot recover without intensive and specialist treatment. Scan, Xrays, bloods, all tests come back is nothing Medically wrong, more tests to wait for but they are saying Her stomach wall has folded she cannot Digest food properly because of the abuse she suffered being almost starved to death, She’s going to stay in for a while, Tomorrow sedate her and flush her stomach is full of poo nothing is moving through properly so she’s pooing & regurgitating everything, She’s being given liquid food 190mls, Two spoons of a sensitive one per day plus her IV Fluids we will bring her back to a healthy happy Jack Russell ❤️ **🛑🛑Do you know who she belonged to? Our beautiful Parsons Russell Bunny is now ready and looking for her forever home 🏡 Bunny came to us in a bad way she was in a road traffic accident then dumped by her owner because she wasn't good for breeding anymore. She only has 3 legs now but that doesn't bother her she still wants to be an Olympic runner, she is so clever sweet cuddly and will make an amazing family member whoever adopts bunny will be very lucky she is an amazing dog 🐶 We love her so much. We are looking for a foster for this old boy Snoopy, absolutely no Dogs they get on his nerves Absolutely loves Humans though ! Emily's visit to Chiltern Referral Services has gone well. The task of repairing the old fracture to the elbow is a possibility. However it will be a very challenging operation. **We are looking for an extra special forever foster home ** Well the saddest news we could have received our little abused girl will never be eligible for any kind of surgeries, The neglect of being a Puppy Machine has done so much damage to her body it's beyond repair and she will never have normal skin, she has been with us since November receiving the best vet care and comforts. Although she has improved so much with us already it will take years for her to look like a normal healthy dog. Our vets age her at 15+ for them years she has been bred repeatedly used as a cash cow having hundreds of her puppies stolen, she has been neglected her whole life and when she couldn't make them money anymore she was to old and sick they dumped her! We are heartbroken for her 💔 her eyes show the pain she has endured for years so much suffering it is hard for us as animal lovers to see suffering all because of selfish evil people exploiting dogs 💔 She will remain under our care for life we will cover any of her needs and future costs we know she will have them. Now ask us again why we hate these scumbags that use innocent souls as cash machines!
