Description

Quilts, bags, purses, cushions, accessories and more, in unique fun fabrics   I made my first patchwork item when I was 11 years old. We'd done some patchworking in school a couple years earlier and had decided I wanted to try it as a hobby. So I made two cat beds for my pets.
Since then over 29 years I've done patchwork and quilting occasionally but not to a great extent until this year. I'm taking a break from my 'real' job as a landscape artist and concentrating on patchwork and quilting because I really enjoy it. I love the wide variety of fabrics available. I also find it like a puzzle, to put fabrics together in a pattern that is pleasing.
I'm also starting to incorporate some applique into designs which is a newish thing to try, and a little embroidery which I was also taught at school and have done over many years.

Feel free to have a browse at my work. I'll add more as I make it but my photography skills are not that great!

Morning 😊 I was walking down the stairs yesterday and my cross stitch queen caught my eye. Maybe it was the light shining on it. I really enjoyed stitching this. Think I did it about 15 years ago.

Evening. Well today didn't quite go as expected. Dropped husband off at airport early this morning. Been up since 5am. Shopping after dropping him off. Housework and cutting out pieces for a new mini quilt - see photo 😊 Then took daughter to uni for an exam. Returned about 5pm. Daniels return flight got delayed for two hours. So got a little bit of work done on the quilt - see photo 😀 Then had to go out with Daniel and check a building was secure. So now home, cup of tea and ready to fall into bed 😊 Tomorrow I'll continue with the quilt Night all 😊
